Nevada In The Rain
©1991 Dakota Sid Clifford
Of all the time I've spent a-ramblin'
Seeing all the places I could see
Them old lonesome highways of Nevada
Feel the most like coming home to me
I love to see them thunderclouds a-risin'
Windswept giants, out across the desert plains
While the sun shines on my home in California
I'll be riding through Nevada, in the rain
At evening you can hear the cattle lowin'
Coyotes make their long and lonesome sound
The stars shine above like neon diamonds
On the friendliest country folks around
You know I love them wide open spaces
They've got a feeling of freedom that I just can't explain
While the sun shines on my home in California
I'll be riding through Nevada in the rain
